Originally from Ukraine, I now live and work in Vancouver. I specialize in micro realism and fine-line tattoos. My goal is not just to create unique, detailed designs but also to provide an ideal experience for my clients. Clean execution is my top priority. Every line should be precise, and every shadow perfectly placed. I also put great emphasis on hygiene and comfort in my studio, ensuring everyone who visits feels safe and relaxed. Hi, I’m Dmitriy, a tattoo artist with over a decade of experience. Since 2011, I’ve specialized exclusively in black and gray tattoos. My work covers a variety of styles, including: Black and grey realism, Black and grey portraits, Black and grey micro realism, Black and grey sculpture tattoos, Black and grey chicano tattoos, Black and grey tattoos with geometric and font elements, Black and grey animal tattoos I’m always open to discussing new ideas in black and grey that align with my artistic approach and your vision. While some concepts may not be the best fit for my style, I’ll always offer honest feedback and help you explore other possibilities to bring your idea to life.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across Europe in countries like the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Poland. I’ve also earned multiple awards at tattoo conventions in Ukraine and participated in Canada’s largest tattoo event, the Toronto Tattoo Show. Now, I’m based at Van Tattoo Studio in Vancouver, Canada. Hi, I’m Alex, a tattoo artist with over 10 years of experience.
Originally from Ukraine, I’ve worked across Europe, including Germany and Poland, where I developed my style and approach to tattooing.
I specialize in black and grey realism, focusing on detailed work, smooth shading, and strong contrast. I also work with cover-ups, helping transform old tattoos into new custom pieces.
Now I’m based at Van Tattoo in Vancouver, and I’m always excited to collaborate with clients to create tattoos that are meaningful, unique and made to last

I’m a Vancouver-based tattoo artist originally from Tokyo, specializing in Japanese, neo-traditional, and illustrative styles.
My work focuses on clean line work and bold compositions, creating custom designs that reflect each client’s story. I draw inspiration from traditional Japanese motifs as well as contemporary illustration, aiming to create pieces that feel both timeless and personal.
